Capabilities   

ENSA is proficient to perform virtually all routine and specialty test procedures required by the United States coal industry and its markets.  The standard methods employed are those established by ASTM.  These methods have been subjected to rigorous validation studies and inter-laboratory collaborative testing and can thus be considered reliable.

Routine coal samples are received by delivery personnel, mail, common carrier, or by ENSAs' field service personnel.  Each sample received is logged into a branch lab computer and, as the sample proceeds through the laboratory, raw data generated is entered into the computer.  When all analyses are completed, verified, and approved by the Lab Manager they are released to the client.

ENSA has a laboratory network that covers all the mining regions and the river system in the United States.  Our analytical capabilities include Fusions, HGI, Ash Mineral, Ultimate as well as Mercury and other trace elements.  ENSA's laboratories run 24-hours a day to provide timely data.  We provide state of the art data management systems to present data to key decision makers in the format required.    We have combined expertise and independence into a powerful tool for utilities.
